Always follow Binance's official terms of service and the laws where you live.

Sideloading an APK is normal when Google Play isn't an option on your phone, but it's also the most common way people end up with a fake wallet or a "customer service" trojan. Here is the short checklist I use before installing the Binance Android app from a direct download.

1. Only take the file from a Binance-owned domain

The package I use is served from Binance's own download host:

https://download.binance.com/pack/BNApp_F0000680.apk

If a link comes from a Telegram group, a DM, or a shortened URL, don't open it. Type the domain yourself or copy it from a page you trust. The hostname must end in
binance.com
, not something like
binance-app.download
or
blnance.com
.

2. Check the file size and the name

When I checked in October 2026 this installer was about 306 MB. A tiny APK of a few MB that claims to be "Binance" is a red flag. Keep the original filename so you can tell later which build you installed.

3. Look at the signing certificate (optional but worth it)

On a computer with the Android SDK build tools:

apksigner verify --print-certs BNApp_F0000680.apk

Note the certificate SHA-256 digest. After installing, any later update must be signed with the same certificate; Android will refuse an update signed by someone else. That's your protection against a swapped file.

4. Allow "install unknown apps" only for the moment you need it

Android 8+ asks per app (for example, your browser or file manager). Turn it on, install, then switch it back off in Settings, Apps, Special app access, Install unknown apps.

5. First launch: check permissions and the login domain

The app should not ask for Accessibility or "display over other apps" permissions just to log in. If it does, uninstall it. Turn on 2FA and a passkey right after your first login.

6. Keep updates inside the app

Once installed, update from the in-app prompt or from the same official download host. Don't reinstall from random mirrors.

Where I keep a longer version

I keep a more detailed walkthrough, including brand-specific settings for Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo phones and what to do when installation is blocked, here: Binance app download guide.

Availability in any specific country or region depends on Binance's official terms of service and local regulations, so check those before you sign up.
